Poonam Bir Kasturi wanted to find a creative solution to the problem of waste management. Her venture Daily Dump launched in 2006 provides composting pots that can be used to convert organic waste into compost within the four walls of one’s home. 

Along with providing a way to dispose the garbage generated at home, Daily Dumpis also providing livelihood to the potter community, giving the dying craft a boost.

Trained as an Industrial Designer from the National Institute of Design (NID), Kasturi said, "Designing is not about fashion but about finding a creative solution to the problem.”................Read more
