He has pioneered the movement of organic cotton cultivation among the farmers of the Kabini Reservoir region, converting his family's highly successful cotton ginning Appachi Cotton into a 100 per cent organic cotton firm, Appachi Ecological Cotton. She has used the yarn from this cotton to create a fashion brand called Ethicus. Together, Mani Chinnaswamy and his wife Vijayalakshmi Nachiar create a lifestyle and ethos of ecological sensitivity. What inspired you to turnaround a successful conventional cotton firm into an organic one?
