The health department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation has suspended licence of a prominent Sadar eatery Arjun Bar and Restaurant for maintaining poor hygiene. However, the suspension will come into effect from February 1, as the corporation has given restaurant owner one month's time to appeal against its order.
A show cause notice was given to the owner of Arjun Bar and Restaurant Vishnu Lade asking him to explain his case. "We also recommended certain changes in the kitchens. His licencewas suspended as the owner did not give satisfactory replies,'' NMC health officer (sanitation) Dr Milind Ganvir said.
