While wandering around Fort Kochi last month, David Timbs came across the Niramaaya store, which sells clothes made from plants and herbs. “Wearing clothes that have a therapeutic effect is like killing two birds with one stone: looking good in fashionable clothing and getting a herbal treatment at the same time,” says the nature therapist from Gisborne, New Zealand.
The store, started by Tresella Agnes in 2006 with an investment of `7 lakh, sells shirts, pyjamas, T-shirts, dupattas, churidars, bedsheets, towels, yoga mats and eye masks, all crafted from plants and herbs.
